Synopsis for course in cinematography

Cinematography (writing with light or lighting in movement) is an art that translates the director’s ideas and dreams into images and visions. A cinematographer should understand the philosophy, aesthetics and psychology that lie behind each and every scene as well as knowing his camera, lenses, lights, and filters.

My teaching of cinematography would be a three year program divided into two major categories

1-     Theoretical

2-     Practical 

        In the theorectical category I will be giving courses such as –

1-      History of cinematography

2-      The psychology of the frame and color

3-      The great cinematographers of all times..
